    Hong Kong Science Museum

This museum is a good place to take children to, especially if you have kids who have an interest in science and how stuff works. It has 4 levels of mostly interactive exhibits, and you can spend an entire morning just touching and trying out all the things on display. The museum is divided into different galleries focusing on different areas of science like light, magnetism, communication, etc.. It’s fun enough for kids but also informative enough for adults.

    Golden Bauhinia Square

The Bauhinia Square is a famous tourist attraction in Wan Chai (on Hong Kong Island), named after the statue of a golden flower at the center of the area. It’s easy to go to Bohol island from Cebu city. We took Weesam fast craft from Cebu pier 4 to Tagbilaran port. Well, although it is called fast craft, the trip still took more than 2 hours.

Once arrived at Tagbilaran port, there would be a lot of private tour van. Find one that could tour you around all the site in bohol island. Total time is around 8 hours, and the cost for the van and driver should be just around 2500 to 2000 pesos.

And in order to save money for other dream destination, I certainly had to consider the cost and the value for my money. Therefore I started the trip with the objectives to check out the famous beaches with money saving in mind. If you follow my trace, you could find out how to tour around famous site in cebu by yourself, and save money at the same time.

For place to stay, it’s quite good to take the waterfront hotel. It’s a very famous hotel in Cebu city. If you reserve early, it is easy to get a good price. When we arrive, the first glance from outside looks like a palace. It was Christmas season, so a lot of people was around the lobby area. Yet, it doesn’t seem crowded because the lobby interior was really spacious. I guess it must be difficult to find a room around this time. Checked in the delux room , and the interior is ok. It could be considered quite good for a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast is not bad too. Read the rest of this entry »
