It’s a brand new year! A time to let go of the mistakes and regrets of 2008 and embrace the future, full of potential and possibilities.

A time to dream dreams, make plans… and finally take the first few tentative steps to make my dreams come true!

I’m excited and exhiliarated at the thought of finally being able to accomplish things I’ve only dreamt about but never tried to do. I am also a bit apprehensive of the unknown and the challenges that I would need to overcome to get to where I want to be in life. There’s always an internal tug of war in my mind. Who will reign supreme this year? The enthusiastic, positive me? Or the fearful, lazy me?

For now, I will just enjoy and take comfort in the knowledge that I have a clean slate, a new beginning… and vow to make my 2009 the best year yet!
